NEW BATAVIA SKATEPARK (2025)
CINEMATOGRAPHER, EDITOR
After some time away from filming skate edits, I wanted to get back behind the fisheye with a project that showcased Batavia’s new skatepark. It was a chance to reconnect with the style and energy of skate filmmaking in a fresh setting.
GE ALL DAY DOCUMENTARY (2023)
VIDEOGRAPHER, EDITOR
For my documentary course, I was asked to edit archival footage. I chose to create a time capsule of my local skatepark’s history. The film captures the skaters and filmmakers who helped shape the park’s lasting legacy before it was demolished.
SAPIENT (2023)
VIDEOGRAPHER, EDITOR
For a documentary course at DePaul, I was assigned a process-driven documentary and decided to explore the artistic process by focusing on skateboard graphic artist Thadd Zurawski.
PUBLIC DIVISION (2019)
VIDEOGRAPHER, EDITOR
Before graduating high school, I set out to make a street video that captured the spots and friendships that shaped my early years filming. Shot over a few years across the Chicagoland area, this project reflects the places and people that defined my local skate scene.
BASEMENT HALFPIPE (2017)
VIDEOGRAPHER, EDITOR
As winter took over Chicago, I turned to my basement halfpipe as an opportunity to film
the local skaters. Creating these videos kept
the scene alive through the cold months.
JAM AT THE HOLLOW (2014)
VIDEOGRAPHER, EDITOR
At 13, I saw this longboard contest in Wisconsin as more than just a trip with friends, it was a chance to film some of the best skaters in the region. Like the skaters, I also had a competitive fire to create the strongest video of the event.
